Drawing on over six years of CEO interviews conducted through Yale’s Program on Stakeholder Innovation and Management, authors Ravi Dhar and Jon Iwata, examine why Americans’ confidence in capitalism has fallen to a 15-year low. The problem, they argue, is not capitalism itself, but the way many companies practice it. Through three business examples, Dhar and Iwata demonstrate how companies are restoring trust in capitalism.
