In December CGE Chairman Sam Palmisano and President Chris Caine met with key private and public sector leaders in China. They discussed The Center’s mission and collaboration with Chairman Zeng Peiyan of the China Center for International Economic Exchanges (CCIEE). Chairmen Zeng and Palmisano agreed that the two organizations will collaborate on management and operational issues of the globally integrated enterprise (GIE).
In addition to CCIEE, Palmisano met with Mr. Tung Chee Hwa, Vice Chairman, CPPCC National Committee, Victor Fung, founder and Chairman of the Fung Global Institute, Peking University Party Secretary Zhu Shanlu, Fudan University School of Management Dean Xiongwen Lu, Mr. Changdong Xu, President, Entrepreneur Alliance of the Western Returned Scholars Association, and Mr. Huang Xiaoxiang, Vice Chairman of the All-China Federation of Industry & Commerce.
CGE will begin collaboration with all the organizations over the months ahead.
